Over the past four years, I have enjoyed writing a series of children’s books which I’ve called ‘The Home Learners’ series. I am now offering to share them with any families who would enjoy reading them……..and they are free to anyone who would like to give them a try.

We are a two generation homeschooling family, in that I homeschooled my children and now my daughter, Beth, is homeschooling her twins. So we understand the difficulty of finding books specifically written about children who learn at home.

There are, currently, ten books in ‘The Home Learners’ series, featuring the adventures of a group of twelve homeschool children and Scooter, an enthusiastic toddler. Each book features one of the children in the group and the others always get involved in the story in one way or another, usually with unexpected results.

They are lighthearted stories which fit into a very flexible 8 to 11 reading age. They are full of fun, with twists and turns and written with plenty of dialogue so they can be enjoyed together by reading out loud…..especially if you do voices…….or used for self-reading.

I hope you and your family will enjoy ‘The Home Learners’ series because I have loved hearing the positive reaction from the adults and children who have already read the books and hearing them discussing and chuckling over the pages……..and yes, the adults chuckling too.
